A range of hoppers from one to four lines, in different sizes and with integeral or independent one or two line drive units with chain speeds of from 6 to 36 metres per minute, ensure that there is a suitable choice for all requirements.
The tracking can be floor standing or suspended, in which case the raising and lowering is by hand operated or motor driven winches with push button or automatic, timed operation.
For commercial layers, the feeders are almost always on slats, where the trough connectors are either carried on conventional adjustable legs, or on low profile brackets which fit into the slats and support the conveyor 15mm above the floor.
The troughing can be either the conventional 'regular' type or the special higher sided 'layers' trough that has been designed to minimise feed wastage, and is a unique SKA product.
For breeders, where the feeders are usually in the litter area, there are galvanized steel or nylon supports for the trough connectors, or for suspended systems there are 'chain' winches, made only by SKA, for feeders that are filled in the raised position and automatically lowered at feeding times.
